David Kaho Music

David Kaho was born in Hayward, California, and at the age of nine, he and his family relocated to the United Kingdom. From an early age, music played a significant role in his life, largely due to his father's involvement as a musician. David began his musical journey by contributing backing vocals to his father's projects and teaching himself how to write music and play the guitar. At 16, David started performing alongside his father in various bands, acquiring valuable experience and refining his musical skills. His passion for music led him to various cities around the UK at the age of 17, where he engaged in busking. This period exposed him to diverse opportunities, including performances at local events, weddings, bars, charity functions, and opening for artists who had previously appeared on popular talent shows such as The Voice and XFactor. Additionally, David was frequently hired for private events. David's musical influences were shaped by his early exposure to Rock, RnB, and Hip-Hop, which provided him with a broad understanding of various musical genres and instrumental techniques. ​During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, David took part in a charity campaign dedicated to raising funds for vaccine research. This initiative ultimately led to the creation of his uplifting and motivational single, "Don't Hold Back." David's commitment to musical excellence led him to enroll at PointBlank Music School at Middlesex University, where he had the opportunity to learn from renowned figures in the music industry, including Trevor Horn, Linton Aka Stepz, Phil Romacon, Max Heyes, Richard Boal, and Nick Hunt. ​Currently, David is an accomplished musician, composing music for both his own projects and collaborations with other artists. While he predominantly performs in London, he is gearing up for the release of his upcoming single, "Better To Have Loved and Lost," following his debut album, "Cold Cold World," which was released in June 2022. ​David Kaho's journey is characterized by his musical versatility, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact through his craft. With a wealth of experience and a promising future ahead, he continues to make his mark on the world of music.
