I am a British-Welsh composer and guitarist, my music has been described as 'exhilarating', 'the highlight of the evening', and 'no mean feat, and I have had music performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Singers, Notes Inegales, Britten Sinfonia, Huw Watkins, Richard Watkins, Carducci Quartet, and many others. I studied at Cardiff University, the University of Oxford, and am a currently the first person to read for a PhD in Music Composition at the University of Cambridge. I have received 14 academic awards, and 3 of my upcoming compositions are being funded by independent arts bodies. I have written extensively in many different styles and am frequently nominated for awards in many different genres. I have over 10 years teaching experience... and a lot of testimonials!
