David Dominique

Born in Madrid into an international family (French mother and Spanish father), he began his musical career in noted orchestras. Years after he collaborate about musicals theatre under the mentoring of the Catalan composer Xavier Edo, with whom he participates as a creative, singer, actor and trumpet player in 5 productions (Viaje a Lavinia, Nu, La aventuras de Zoël, El cantamañanas and The Flips). He studied music theory and trumpet with the concertmaster of the O.N.E. Jose María Ortí in Madrid and takes singing, arranging and improvisation lessons with noted Vocal Coach “José María Sepúlveda”. After performing three years with his Jazz and Swing group in France (Paris and Lyon) in private parties and large events, he moved to Madrid to work as a soloist for "The Metro Big Band" and "TV Big Band", later formed his own orchestra with original arrangements. His work as session singer and choir director for advertising and television (Antena 3, Tele 5, Telemadrid, Cuatro) stands out, recording in Spanish, English, French, Latin, Italian and Portuguese as vocal arranger on the latest smooth jazz album of the international artist Javier Pitera. He is working as musical editor in the Talent Show “THE VOICE” in Spain. Currently he is preparing his 2nd album, available soon.
