Daria Blyzniuk Jazz Quartet is a talented ensemble featuring a charismatic singer Daria Blyzniuk, alongside a gifted pianist, Joseph Game, a skilful bassist, Eliot Whitehouse, and the versatile saxophonist, Harris Dakin. These promising musicians are currently students of the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They perform regularly on the vibrant London jazz scene. Each member brings years of experience and a deep passion for jazz, contributing to the quartet's dynamic and engaging performances. Their repertoire consists of swing, ballad, bossa nova, bebop and blues songs. Coming from the opposite end of the jazz spectrum from Daria, and knowing nothing at all about the genre we were immediately bitten by the enthusiasm, music and pure enjoyment of listening to Daria and her quartet. We have followed her progress through the Guildhall School of Music, her concerts at Guildhall and subsequent gigs at Boisdale and Hopscotch, and although we are still learning about jazz we know enough to say she and her quartet have massive talent, and the range of her voice is such that she is at home performing her magic in such different places from huge 19th century livery halls to cosy basements cafes. We must add that the variety of her music is vast, from Ukrainian folk through pop to improvised modern jazz and that they are a lovely and relaxed bunch of people. We continue to follow her as she is a star!!!!!

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up follows: Vocals, Piano, Double bass, Saxophone. We also have and option with Drums. Can also perform in trio with Vocals, Piano and Double bass. A duo option will be Vocals and Piano.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
