All my life I have played a brass instrument. I started to play at the age of six in the Salvation Army. My father being my teacher. All my life I have wanted to play and have been lucky enough to play with some of the worlds leading professional players. I have been a member of the world famous Grimethorpe Band and with that being on tours around Britain, Europe and the world with Australia being the latest. I have also played with other world class band such as Desford and Cory. In my work life I worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company as a trumpet player for many shows in Stratford-uopn-Avon but also in the west end of London. Now I am based back up north and hold the principle chair at Easington.
