Dani Baker Vocals

Dani started vocal training at age 11 studying Classical and Musical Theatre, gaining Grade 8 ABRSM. At 18 Dani began performing at weddings and corporate events, performing everything through Pop, Rock, Swing & Motown and learning the world of professional musicianship. Dani is also certified in Level 1 & 2 of the Estill voice model. With experience in a range of genres, 2016 brought the opportunity to explore a new direction as Dani joined Reggae/Rocksteady band The Scorchers. Having always loved Reggae, Dani fronted the band for over 3 years, releasing original material and performing at festivals, weddings & events across the South East. Dani then went on to front Swing band Betty Baker & The Swingtones, performing 1940s & 50s swing & jive as well as vintage style covers of contemporary songs. Dani now performs as a solo wedding and events singer performing a range of swing, pop, rock and musical theatre, tailoring set lists to suit individual events. With such a range of previous experience, Dani knows how and when to draw a crowd and when to simply allow her beautiful vocals to float in the background and create the perfect atmosphere for your event. In addition to a performance career Dani owns Vocademy, a vocal and performance school based in Maidstone which started in 2016. Vocademy has a team of 6 talented tutors offering in-person lessons in Maidstone and Rochester as well as online lessons in 7 countries. Dani continues to perform at a variety of events, continues to study vocals and is always looking for bigger and better ways to offer Vocademy’s students quality training and performance opportunities.
