We had an ‘Almost Hogmanay’ ceilidh for about 30 people, family and friends. Most were novices with a scattering of people who knew what they were doing. Kate and Roddy were excellent in introducing, explaining and letting us get on with it. We had a hoot. Thank you!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceilidh band! They were everything we wished for and more. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a fun and energetic addition to their special day. They made our wedding night unforgettable!

Thank you both so much for an excellent fun ceilidh on Saturday. The music was superb and commented on by so many people, and really found helpful that you were able to guide us through so many of the dances! Customer questions

Can you perform covers?

No - we are folk musicians, so we do have a full repertoire of songs, but they are folk songs, and not pop covers.....if you ahve a request for a first dance we are happy to learn it, but it will be folky!

Do you have different line-up options?

No, but as we have such diverse instrumentation, you are getting a 6 piece band with only two of us!!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem, we know that plans can change, especially if we are booked far in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you and advise when needed.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, you are welcome to plug in your own playlist into our system at any time during the booking....

How much time do you need to set up?

Preferably 1hr including soundcheck and setup

Do you provide a caller?

Yes! We can also call the dances in French

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy to discuss with you what you would like for the evening, and you can of course request songs/dances from our repertoire.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Yes! Everything is included

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, with 2 months notice we can usually do this.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are energetic and enthusiatic musicians, we love the music we play and this comes across. We are also warm and friendly, so part of our performance is putting people at ease so they get up and dance and have a great time! People love our style of ceilidh, with our looping making the music exciting and different, and the variety of instruments.
