Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I aim to be a flexible as possible - please let me know of any changes in advance ideally, but within reason changes can be accommodated.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Certainly, and I would happily provide that service free of charge. If you have any playlist requests please let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on complexity of setup, 90 minutes is a good buffer that allows for any complications, but in theory it could be done in as little as 30.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Certainly - feel free to submit requests! I’ll do my best to accommodate them if they are songs I’ve heard; if not I do offer a bespoke song learning service.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. As long as a power socket is available, and the area to perform in is suitably flat and uncluttered, I can supply everything.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Definitely! If I haven’t heard the song (unlikely), even the fastest learner has to listen to a song at least 3 times to remember it, and to perform it to a high standard requires a certain amount of repeated playing, so there is naturally a small cost attached to the time spent engaged in that process. But I do already know most requested songs.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I’m told they appreciate the versatility, range of songs and energy of performance.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Wembley Stadium Royal Ascot Goodwood Revival Brands Hatch Camden Roundhouse Fairfield Concert Halls Glastonbury, Secret Garden, Standon Calling, Goldcoast Oceanfest, Solfest, Nashville Meets London and many other major festivals

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Mark Knopfler Stevie Wonder BB King Eric Clapton The Charlatans Bob Dylan Johnny Cash Mary Chapin Carpenter Little Feat

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably the festival stage at Royal Ascot for around 3000 race goers.
