Daniel is currently on trial for the Co-principal cello position of Welsh National Opera and works regularly as a busy freelancer with UK orchestras in England, Scotland and Wales. He is a post-graduate of the Royal College of Music where he studied Melissa Phelps and graduated with distinction in 2009. As a soloist, his concerto performances have included two performances of the Schumann Cello Concerto as well as Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Cello Concerto ‘Mania’.
