Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The most common feedback I receive is "You're a proper DJ". I'm not sure what that means but, Yes! - I've been DJing for 20 years, spanning genres and formats, trying to elevate my skills wherever possible. Whether this is cutting and scratching through HipHop vinyl or perfected seamless blends with house music, I'm a perfectionist and love the craft.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Hotels - Dorchester, The Ned, Mayfair, The Londoner, Landmark, Park Lane Hilton, Sea Containers, The Hoxton, Ace Hotel, The Mondrian, Kimpton Fitzroy, The Langham, Corinthia. Other - Gherkin, Roundhouse, Fabric, Toy Room, The Shard, Syon Park, Serpentine Restaurant Hyde Park, Soho Farmhouse

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

DJs - Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, QBert, DJ Craze, Miles Medina, Andy C, DJ EZ, Diplo, DJ Premier Musicians - Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, MJ, Herbie Hancock, JayDee, Questlove, Zapp & Roger, Funkadelic, Ohio Players, D'angelo,

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Can I have two? 1. New Years Pool Party at the Shard. Celebrities, swimwear and great views. Of London not the bikinis! 2. Arsene Wenger House Party with the Invincibles Arsenal Squad. Kolo Toure took over the decks for 15 minutes for some Ivory Coast afrobeats!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I usually only take one booking per day and will most likely have the flexibility to suit your needs

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I generally DJ for the entire time I'm on site and won't require breaks. My cost covers a 5hr site time. Some parts of my set are more high energy than others and I will tune the performance accordingly. Sometimes I'm asked to provide sound, mics, background music for ceremonies, speeches or during food and I'm always happy to help. Cost for this is POA.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on the venue access and equipment required, usually from 30mins to 1hr.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! Firstly, I recommend choosing 5/10 'must plays' and a few 'do not plays'. A 'last song' is always useful and sometimes people like to share playlists with me so I have a few more ideas to work with. It's nice if I get to choose a few songs I think the crowd will like too.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. You can choose from a variety of stylish production to suit your venue or event branding. Apart from the DJ equipment, I'm happy to help with staging, dancefloors, additional sound and lighting and photobooths.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I often get asked to perform and play obscure sets, themes or intros. I love a challenge and happy to put some work in before the event to make sure everything goes to plan.

I booked Tom to DJ at my boyfriends surprise 30th party. We had a few hitches (as someone broke their arm about 30 mins before the start!) but Tom was calm and professional. Brilliant with the kids we had there, they loved getting the mic! Tom kept everyone (aged between 2 and 72) happy and dancing, with a bit of everything from Frozen to some old school garage and even a bit of Kenny Rogers! Thoroughly recommend Tom to anyone, but especially if you have a mix of ages and musical tastes x
