Hi Rachel, We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you were disappointed with parts of the evening, as we always want every couple to have an amazing experience. However, we do feel it’s important to provide some context to your comments. Throughout the night, the dance floor remained very busy, and we received continuous song requests and engagement from guests. For a large portion of the evening, a member of your bridal party repeatedly used the wireless microphone to call out requests, sang out of tune, MC'd in an unprofessional fashion and encourage guests to do the same. We accommodated these requests immediately over an extended period of time in an effort to keep guests happy and maintain the atmosphere. As DJs performing live, constantly interrupting planned transitions and changing musical direction to instantly fulfil shouted requests inevitably affects the natural flow and structure of a professionally mixed set. Despite this, all requests were loaded live into Rekordbox and professionally mixed in real time through our Pioneer DJ setup using live remixing techniques throughout the night. We also strongly reject the suggestion that the saxophone performance was not live. Jaime performed live continuously from approximately 4pm until midnight, including an encore at 12am after requests from the bridal party and guests for more music while the dance floor was still full. He performs using a professional wireless saxophone setup, and live performance is central to what we do professionally at weddings and international events. In addition, the videos and photos captured throughout the event, including material required as part of EncoreMusicians policies, clearly show full dance floors, active guest engagement, and both indoor and outdoor DJ and live saxophone performances across the evening. These have all been provided to Encore Musicians and the response has been to post this reply Regarding the weather conditions, we arrived approximately 1.5 hours early to set up while conditions were sunny and dry. Around 10 minutes before the ceremony began, the weather changed suddenly and heavy rain started. Despite this, both the DJ and saxophonist continued with the performance in order to support the bride and groom’s day and ensure all ceremony music and planned song choices were delivered without interruption. The performance area itself was not covered, although guests and the bridal party were under shelter. In order to protect professional electrical equipment from rain damage while continuing the performance, we used available items, including the saxophonist’s jacket, to shield equipment and keep the ceremony running smoothly. We were there to support and serve you and your day no matter what the weather There were also only six parking spaces available on site, so after unloading equipment we moved our vehicle to a distant parking location. We had brought two separate performance setups for the different wedding locations, including multiple cases, bags and supporting equipment storage. Some equipment had to be stored discreetly in an uncovered area due to limited space on site. While checking this equipment during the rain, the saxophonist was kindly offered a tarpaulin unexpectedly by another guest, rather than requesting one himself. We are therefore surprised this has been interpreted negatively when, from our perspective, it reflected us continuing to manage difficult conditions professionally while keeping the event running. To summarise, we were on site working continuously for approximately eleven hours. During that time we performed through heavy rain, constant shouted requests and ongoing interruptions on the microphone, while continuing to smile, engage professionally and perform to the best of our ability throughout the entire event. We are regularly booked by leading corporate venues, Ministry of Defence events, luxury clients and highly regarded wedding venues, and this review has therefore genuinely shocked us. However, we also understand that every event can be viewed differently from different perspectives, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.
