Since my Bachelor (with Hons) degree in Radio Broadcasting, I have DJ'd for celebrities, bars, festivals and weddings. Just when you think you've seen it all, you realise you're not even close! I produced & presented London radio shows for 7 years. During that time I was being booked for my first gigs as a DJ. I fell in love with the music and 10 years later I am still DJing all over the UK. Frankie was absolutely excellent at our event which was quite a niche brief. It was a closed staff event for Barnsley College, during the early afternoon to launch our new employee value proposition, but she curated the atmosphere so accurately and we received so many lovely comments on how her presence really brought life to the event. We weren't too well versed in that type of event but she put us at ease and worked with us so cooperatively and professionally to find a suitable set up for the event. Thank you Frankie!

Frankie was amazing! She had the best set, but was also willing to change it slightly to meet people’s requests! Everybody commented on how good she was - she really had everyone on the dance floor until the very end! Would really recommend her to anyone wanting a fabulous night ☺️

As a sax player, I find DJ Frankie Santana an absolute treat to work with. Her tune choices consistently ensure that the dancefloor is full and her playful style of mixing keeps the dancers guessing. Each song she drops is the new best song. Her judgment of what to play when joined by a sax player is spot on - she knows the repertoire well and mixes sensibly with no awkward juxtaposition of key or pitch. Book Frankie for an absolute banger of a house set.

I receive compliments on my creative mixing abilities and playful presentation style. When the audience is having a good time then I am having a good time! I am good at picking up on a clients music taste after just a few songs.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Deer Shed 2022. I had a time slot in one of the large tents alongside my performing partner at the time, Jonnie One Biscuit. The tent was full of people who turned up just for us! I danced my a$$ off on the stage and the audience loved it. We were asked back again but the duo disbanded.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Good communication makes the strongest partnership! If things change, let me know. I understand that it happens. I specialise in last-minute bookings.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes.

How much time do you need to set up?

I arrive 1-1.5 hours before your requested set start time. For example, if you would like music from 2000-0000, then I will be there at 1830 to assemble equipment and make sure the technology and music is running smoothly.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I curate a playlist after a 1 on 1 meeting with you to discuss your music tastes. This is your celebration after all! All special requests must be made no sooner than a few days before the event. This is because I buy and download all my music from a DJ pool, if I do not have a song request that is made on the night, then I do not have the song unfortunately

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring a DJ booth, Pioneer DJ decks, PA system, lighting and a sound engineer.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I will source all your special request songs made in time for the event. My goal is to make your celebration bespoke to you!
