I found my passion for music in 2011 and studied Radio Broadcasting at Leeds City College. When I went to University to continue my education in Radio, I got my first DJ decks! I cut my teeth DJing in bars and clubs around the city. Connecting with London’s top DJs and sharing music and mixes together. I volunteered at Soho Radio during my time in London and hosted my own shows “Evening Essentials With Frankie Santana”. I love music, and I love DJing. If I feel anxious about a big event, all that disappears as soon as I am behind the DJ decks and start the first song. If you like high energy, we certainly align! My vibe is dance music, house music, and the old skool classics! When you’re having a good time, it means that I am having a good time. You will notice by how much I love to dance behind the DJ decks. Client’s love what I do and I can’t help but become friends with everyone over time! I am still in regular contact with most of my clients. Ex-clients enjoyed what I did for them so much that some consistently come to my public events! We had Frankie Santana DJ our work party last Friday and she was fantastic. In the lead-up, she put real thought into building a playlist that blended lots of different genres, and on the night she did a great job of reading the room and setting the tone. Although it was a work event so there wasn’t quite as much dancing as we’d hoped, Frankie created a perfect chilled vibe that everyone enjoyed. We received lots of positive feedback from colleagues! Would definitely recommend Frankie for any event!

AMAZING!!!! I literally can not recommend Frankie Santana enough!!! She was unreal, from the off she was communicative, friendly, accommodating and professional. She played everything I wanted her to and more!! She nailed it 100%, honestly wish I could have a party every week, she read the room, kept everyone going, she’s a vibe!!! My advice, if you’re hesitating, don’t! Book her as she will deliver!! An absolute pleasure to meet her and work with her.

Frankie was the perfect wedding DJ! We chose her because we didn’t want the ‘generic’ wedding DJ, we really wanted the club feel to our wedding evening do with lots of dance tunes. Well she absolutely smashed this brief, she brought so much energy and good vibes, and adjusted the tunes throughout the night to suit what people were vibing to. Everyone absolutely loved her. We chatted to Frankie and couple of times prior to the big day and she was always great to deal with, listened to what we wanted and reassured us that she had everything under control (which she definitely did). She also mixed the music for our first dance which was an acoustic version of a house song into the original version to get everyone on the dance floor after, which it did! It was such a joy having Frankie with us on our day. We would without a doubt recommend her!

From the very first message, Frankie made everything so easy and stress-free. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but they were so responsive, friendly, and genuinely excited to be part of our day, which immediately put me at ease. On the night itself, Frankie absolutely smashed it. The energy was incredible from start to finish — they read the room perfectly and had everyone on the dance floor, from our mates to family members who never usually dance. The music was tailored just for us, with a perfect mix of tracks that celebrated who we are as a couple and kept the atmosphere joyful and inclusive all night long

Frankie Santana was amazing at our wedding. Beforehand she made sure we were able to go through what kind of music we would like, and how the event would run, and then on the day she was punctual, friendly and really brought the party with the bongos! We had a lot of kids at our wedding and they absolutely loved dancing, the smoke machine and the bongos. Frankie was really good at getting them involved too. I would really recommend her to anyone looking for a great DJ for any event. She was a complete professional throughout the whole experience - book her now, you will be so glad you did!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Deer Shed 2022. I had a time slot in one of the large tents alongside my performing partner at the time, Jonnie One Biscuit. The tent was full of people who turned up just for us! I danced my a$$ off on the stage and the audience loved it. We were asked back again!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem at all! I understand that event timings can shift unexpectedly. Just let me know as soon as you can if your schedule changes. Flexibility is part of what makes my service seamless and stress-free. Whether it’s starting earlier or finishing later, I’m here to ensure your event runs smoothly and the music fits perfectly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! All my mixes are live and crafted in the moment to keep the energy just right. If you’d like music before my set, I can provide an iPod/DJ service. My professional speakers have Bluetooth connectivity for any last-minute or emergency playback needs. Your event’s soundtrack will never miss a beat!

How much time do you need to set up?

I arrive approximately 1.5 to 2 hours before your requested set start time. For example, if you would like music from 2000-0000, then I will be there at 1800 to assemble equipment and make sure the technology and music is running smoothly.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I curate a playlist after a 1 on 1 meeting with you to discuss your music tastes. This is your celebration after all! All special requests must be made no later than a few days before the event. This gives me time to get the tracks, analyse them in Rekordbox and subsequently export them to my memory sticks.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring a large DJ Booth, DJ Decks, PA system, Party lighting, bongos, microphones and all the cables I'll need!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely! Just send me any specific songs or pieces you want included before the event, and I’ll make sure they’re perfectly integrated into the set to match your vibe. Your music preferences are my priority, and I’ll have everything ready to create the perfect atmosphere.
