Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line-up is DJ, Bongos, Sax. We can adapt our line-up to be just 2/3. We can also potentially discuss other options, such as adding in more players or having some of the event with DJ only.

We also work with an acoustic pop/rock cover duo that we can bring as a contrasting additional act for your event, at a discounted rate.

Question 2

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Accepted Answer

We are here for your event - It is our role to work around you and your needs. As performers, we are there to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event, just make sure to let us know as soon as possible.

Question 3

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. Once we are set up, we are happy to provide or include a playlist service either before or between our sets for free.

If you would like a DJ service before, after, or between our other sets, we provide this for an additional £98 per hour.

Question 4

How much time do you need to set up?

Accepted Answer

We usually arrive 1 to 2 hours before the performance time. Our set up time varies on the setting, but usually doesn't take more than 45 minutes. Once our PA is set up and sound checks are done, we can provide a playlist for free to make sure the atmosphere is right and you guests are warmed up ready for our performance.

Can you roam around while you perform?

The Saxophone player can roam around whilst performing, however it is more challenging for the percussionist and DJ to do this as well.

The percussionist is able to include more mobile elements of his performance (as well as bongos & congas), such as shakers, tambourines and other multi-percussion.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have created our set list based on years of experience, hours of practice and rehearsal, as well as learning what works best at our gigs to provide guests with an amazing time. We are well equipped to adapt any performance and establish an environment where everyone is dancing and having a good time. Because of this, we are open to discussing options.

Question 7

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our PA and lighting rig is all included in the quote, as well as the percussion equipment and saxophone. All we need is  around 3 square metres to perform in!

Question 8

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Accepted Answer

If we do not already have the songs prior to the event, we are happy to add some specific songs to our set if requested in advance. Any songs requested that are not already in our set list require at least two weeks notice and an additional fee of £15 per song to account for rehearsal time.
