Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
During my performances I keep things upbeat and lively while still making sure to play as accurately and cleanly as possible. I also can take some crowd requests which helps make each performance memorable as it is not just a predetermined setlist.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have offered at a myriad of venues around Glasgow, including the Classic Grand, Mono, and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I have been influenced by many guitarists growing up, most notable of which I would say include Wes Montgomery, Carlos Santana, and Randy Rhoads.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The most high profile gig I've performed personally was playing King Tut's New Year Revolution with my band Empty Space, with the concert being my second time at King Tut's.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try my hardest to make sure things run as smoothly as possible for you and your event. If timings change leading up to your event just let me know and I will work with you as much as I can to ensure everything goes off without a hitch.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I do not currently own my own personal PA system however if the venue I am hired to play in has one I would be happy to offer this service between sets for free. If you would like an additional service via the PA after my performance then that would be an extra charge depending on how long after my performance you would want me to stay.
How much time do you need to set up?
I would usually set up about 45 minutes to an hour before it's time for me to perform, in order to make sure sound levels are appropriate.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
My set list is chosen to ensure people have a good time and are up and dancing, however if you have any special requests I am happy to have a conversation with you and work to make sure your event is the best it can be!
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes absolutely! I bring my own instrument and if needed can bring my own amplifier as well.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If a song is not included in my song list there is still a chance I know it already. If I don't and you would like me to learn it then I am happy to do this for you and will talk to you to work that out.
