Craig is a West London based drummer with a passion for music. From playing in orchestras to performing around the world he is always striving to better his playing and teaching method in every way. Diversity is a central component to his mindset behind the kit and tackles every new opportunity with an open mind. Originally from South Shields, he spent his early years up north playing in South Tyneside Youth Orchestra, The Young Sinfonia (Sage Gateshead) and some great percussion ensembles. Alongside this he also gigged regularly with tribute and original bands on the northern circuit. Craig moved down to London to study at Tech Music Schools from which he graduated with a 2:1 (hons) and has since been pushing every opportunity to gain a stable career in the industry. Moving to London also gave him valuable experience gigging abroad for well established bands. As an educator he has gained invaluable skills and techniques to instruct drummers all across the board and classes educating as a vital part to the music industry itself. Between gigging abroad and teaching he is a regular on the function circuit playing weddings and corporate events. He is also a session musician for Diablo Records and has recorded on many albums the Label has released, including working on tracks with bands such as Madness and Jenny Mathias (Belle Stars). Alongside this he spent a year working at Bell Percussion, which gave him a unique insight into the London music machine.
