The band have played for ceilidhs at venues throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Gleneagles, Stirling Castle and Hopetoun House, as well as venues abroad within Malaysia and China! The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band understand the importance of musical entertainment and guarantee to make your event both memorable and enjoyable for your guests, providing an energetic, authentic Scottish ceilidh experience. Our unique and individual service allows us to tailor your entertainment package to suit your tastes and budget. We are able to split the evening up with a mixture of both Ceilidh & DJ, using our professional sound system and lighting. We can't recommend Cragganmore Ceilidh Band enough - they were brilliant! The majority of the guests attending our wedding had never done a ceilidh before, but the band were extremely patient and very encouraging to those who slightly lacked coordination! A lively and professional ceilidh band, Cragganmore played at our wedding last weekend. A great mixture of tunes and clear calling for some of our less confident guests made for some brilliant dancing, followed by a fun DJ set with lights from Cameron. We booked Cragganmore Ceilidh Band for our wedding and wow wow wow, we had SUCH a great evening! Cameron is really lovely & was super helpful in organising everything via email. The band were amazing, and the caller was great (as half of our guests had never been to a Ceilidh before), no one left the dance floor at any point, and even when Cameron took over for the DJ, the dance floor was still packed. We spoke through with Cameron what we wanted and he met the brief perfectly. I’d highly recommend booking the band & DJ package! Thanks so much again guys, me and all of our guests loved you!

Our 2 fiddles can perform a range of music, and are happy to arrange a particular piece of music for you to walk down the aisle to. Our 2 fiddle duo are the ideal entertainment for this section of your day, providing an elegant background during the ceremony. Prices vary depending on whether or not the duo are also used for the drinks reception.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our unique and individual service allows us to tailor your entertainment package to suit your tastes and budget. With more than 30 years of experience within the industry, Cragganmore are a highly professional ceilidh band who offer a reliable, personal service from start to finish.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The band have played for ceilidhs at venues throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Gleneagles, Stirling Castle and Hopetoun House, as well as venues abroad within Malaysia and China! We are the recommended supplier at many wedding venues throughout the UK including the multi-award-winning Balbirnie House.

Can you perform covers?

We don't perform covers, however all our packages come with an optional DJ service. This allows you to split the evening between Ceilidh and Disco!

Do you have different line-up options?

We tend to perform as a 4 piece with 2 Fiddles (Violins), Keyboard, and Drums. We can however offer a range of different line ups and can add various other instruments if you are interested. For smaller events, our 3-piece band works extremely well, made up of Fiddle, Accordion, and Drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are very flexible and will always do everything we can to accommodate your requirements. This will ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. Any changes in timings, just let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are more than happy to offer an iPod/DJ service between sets, allowing you to play a playlist of your choice through our PA system.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Do you provide a caller?

Yes we do! We have a fantastic caller as part of all of our Ceilidh Band line-ups.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If you wish to split the evening up with a mixture of Ceilidh and DJ, during the DJ part of the evening you are more than welcome to request songs you would like to hear. If there are any particular Scottish tunes that you would like to hear the band perform during the ceilidh, just let us know!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can learn song requests before the event. Just get in touch and we can get something arranged.
