I’m Elliot Gaspar, known musically as Limbo Days. I'm a singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer specialising in soul, jazz and funk. I put together sets that suit everything from background ambience to something a bit more upbeat, depending on the vibe of the night. I can perform solo (vocals with piano or guitar), bring in additional musicians for a duo or full band, and I’m always happy to take requests or tailor a bespoke setlist to fit your night. My repertoire spans Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, and many more soul favourites. I've recently performed at prolific venues such as the O2 Academy Liverpool and O2 Institute Birmingham. Outside of performing, I work as a radio host, DJ/promoter under the collective Funk Yeah, and as a live sound engineer. Happy to chat more if you’re interested - just drop me a message! I booked Cosmo for a small dinner party with friends; have to say he was absolutely wonderful and his voice very soulful. He played such a lovely mix of tunes, nothing too loud, just the perfect backdrop to the evening spent with a varied age group of friends. Polite, well-presented and a ‘joy’ to listen to……not to mention a lovely warm and pleasant personality making everyone feel at ease. A true professional and a real talent.

Had Cosmo Rhodes play at my 27th and he was absolutely class. From the first track, the energy was just right - smooth, soulful, and effortlessly cool. He brought proper feel-good vibes that had everyone singing along, dancing, and asking, “Who is this guy?!” His setlist was spot on - a mix of soul, jazz and some unexpected gems that went down a treat. He even threw in a couple of my favourites after a quick chat beforehand, which was a nice touch. Super professional but laid-back and easy to work with. Honestly made the night feel special. If you want live music that lifts the room and leaves a lasting impression, Cosmo’s your man.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's fine, just let me know as soon as possible!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! If you'd like a DJ service through the PA after the final set, I can provide this for an additional £120.

How much time do you need to set up?

Roughly 30-60 minutes! As soon as the PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the performance.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Of course! As long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My sets are based on what I specialise in. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for you and your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes. I bring my own digital piano keyboard to play usually - a Nord Piano 3, though I don't have an acoustic piano to bring unfortunately. However, the Nord sounds just as good.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you. Just let me know at least a week in advance per song.
