Cornelia Selinder

I started out over 10 years ago playing saxophone in different big bands setup. That led me into wanting to progress my vocals and decided to start college with vocals as my main instrument. I formed and became apart of different bands along with me playing saxophone in local big bands in Sweden. Main focus at that point was just to extend my setlist and become as versatile as possible and I was the lead singer of a Reggae band called The Kayaroots while i was also singing a lot of Jazz. Playing all over Sweden. In 2013 I decided that i wanted to move to England to start the Popular music performance course at BIMM London. The course was all about training us to become session musicians and to have knowledge in all genres. This course i graduated from summer 2016. My background playing in big bands make me have good knowledge and experience in Jazz. But I'm also a very versatile and stubborn singer that like a challenge and to explore new songs in different genres. Because knowledge does make you a better musician.
