We've played on cruise ships in every corner of Europe from Iceland all the way to Greece, now we want to bring the party to you!

A collective of cruise ship musicians, Copper Tones are a function band based in Yorkshire in the UK. Available for all kinds of events from weddings to birthday parties and corporate events, etc. Copper Tones can scale all the way from a 4 piece function band down to an acoustic duo, making them suitable for any atmosphere and adaptable to any vibe. The band provide a diverse repertoire of over 200 songs spanning most popular genres and all decades from the 60s up to present day. Founding and permanent members Abigail and Charles blend a musical theatre background with pop and rock influence, affording Copper Tones the capacity to execute a strong range to fit for all events and scenarios, and the ability to engage a crowd with their energy. Alongside lead guitarist and vocalist Bob O'Hare, Copper Tones boast a wealth of experience performing as a party band at holiday parks and weddings around the UK, in theatre shows, and in the band and show team onboard multiple cruise ships, displaying their versatility and competence in their craft. Charles & Abigail are also both university graduates receiving degrees from the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (London) and London College Of Music respectively.

Customer questions

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

As a band we've performed predominantly on P&O, Brittany and Royal Caribbean cruise ships, but we also regularly play around the UK at private events, in bars and venues, and at holiday parks such as Butlins and Haven.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Absolutely. We will never take a gig that Charles and Abigail aren't available for as the founding and permanent members of the band. We do have very competent "dep" musicians available to us however we strive to never use them as the main members of the band to provide you with the true Copper Tones experience.

Do you have different line-up options?

Charles and Abigail will always be present whether you're booking us as a full 4 piece band, a trio, or an acoustic duo. We always try to ensure Bob, our lead guitarist, will be present for full band gigs. We work with a number of very talented drummers for our full band lineups.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely. We will always try to tailor our setlist to match the atmosphere, and it is something we pride ourselves in being able to do very well, however if you would like to make sure that we are playing exactly what you want to hear then that's fine by us.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

No, we provide everything that allows us to be self contained in terms of sound, but we don't provide PA & lighting unless specifically asked to and should you need us to provide these there will be an extra cost to cover the equipment and the setup.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it, feel free to get in touch and see if it's something we can do.
