About Constance

Verified profile

Constance had her first piano lesson at the age of 4, and without her even realising, she began to play in public for concerts, weddings and church services at the age of 8. She loves sharing music with people and believes that it conveys all sorts of emotions in their depth and complexity. Music also creates the right ambience for any occasions! Constance is a Master's graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and was hailed as the “Talented Pianist” on Eastern Daily Press (2017). Constance regularly performs as a soloist, collaborative pianist and accompanist, nationally and internationally. As a classically trained musician, Constance is able to perform a variety of music to suit her client's preferences. She learns music quickly and is able to arrange most pieces for solo piano. The song list shows some of the music Constance plays at weddings and other events, please still send an enquiry if you can't find what you are looking for. She is happy to perform on a piano at your venue or provide a digital piano with PA speakers for the event. Constance performs frequently across the U.K., mainland Europe, and in Hong Kong. She has had the privilege to collaborate with world-renowned pianist Noriko Ogawa in a piano duet concert in 2016 and had been a concerto soloist with the University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017. She has performed for the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office at a number of European countries including France, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Venues she has appeared at include the Milton Court Concert Hall, Bishopgate Institute, St Edmundsbury Cathedral, The Church of St. Peter Mancroft, St. Bride's Church Fleet Street, The Shaw Library at the London School of Economics, St. Clement Danes Church, St Lawrence Jewry, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and Blue Note at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Whilst at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Constance studied piano performance under the tutelage of Paul Roberts. She has completed her undergraduate Music studies at King’s College London, when she also studied the piano with Tessa Nicholson at the Royal Academy of Music. Constance received a full scholarship to attend Music at Albignac Piano Summer School in 2015. Whilst studying at King’s, she was generously supported by the Hong Kong Scholarship Fund. She was also a contralto choral scholar at the renowned college chapel choir, with which she has performed both as a pianist and as a singer in the U.K. and abroad. Constance is currently based in London and is highly demanded as a solo and chamber pianist, accompanist, and piano teacher.

Constance was incredible playing piano for our wedding ceremony She is so talented and was so lovely incorporating in some of my song requests for the song list. We had such a great experience booking Constance and having her play at our wedding, I'd highly recommend her! And I'd definitely book her again if I need a pianist!

Constance played the piano for our wedding ceremony: background music as guests arrived and then songs for important points in the ceremony. Constance played beautifully and is very talented. She was friendly and easy to communicate with when organising our big day and was very helpful with making suggestions with our music arrangements, making it much less stressful. I would definitely recommend her. :)

We were delighted to have Constance as the pianist at our wedding. Despite the short notice, she played beautifully with two other musicians whom she had just met. Constance played our favourite songs during the church service, and many of our guests commented on what an exceptional pianist she was. If you're looking for a pianist or accompanist who can play a wide range of music, we highly recommend Constance.
