Customer questions
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try to accommodate everything, so if there is a change, just let me know and we can work something out together.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
This is standard for my gigs anyway - if you're hiring me, you're getting the full package of entertainment. It also helps you, so that you don't have to worry about going over and pressing play on Spotify again!
How much time do you need to set up?
It usually only takes me around 20 minutes to set up, but I like to get there about 45 minutes early to ensure that everything runs smoothly and I get a chance to familiarise myself with everyone running the event.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
As part of the booking process, I provide a list of songs that I do and we can work together to form the kind of set that you're looking for. At the end of the day though, these sets are tried at tested at countless gigs and if you're not sure what you want, just have faith in the lists!
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Absolutely! I provide all my equipment, from multiple guitars, to full PA system, even to lighting.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If you would like specific song requests, I will try my upmost to accommodate that. This isn't always possible, due to the nature of not all songs being transferable to all genres and instruments, but I will certainly try my best for you.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
People love my energy the most. All my performances are engaging and if people are willing, sometimes even involve crowd participation.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed at venues all over the country, ranging from festivals in Leeds and bars and pubs in Newcastle. My favourite place of all time to play, is Filthy's Newcastle - it just has a great vibe!
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
In terms of my personal music taste, I love rock! But gigging wise, I've been influenced a lot by the likes of Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and also a guy called Myles Kennedy.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The highest profile gig I've performed was probably a small festival called G-fest, which I've played at for the last 2 years. Whilst this small in terms of festivals, it was big in terms of a gig! The attendance was around 3000 each year.
