The man with the magic fingers, Connor Thomas; is an acoustic fingerstyle guitar maestro re-imagining songs with his intricate and mesmerising fingerwork. Connor is able to play the rhythm, drums, bass and melody all on one instrument – often described as a one-man band. Connor Thomas is a virtuoso guitar player from Durham, in the north of England. Connor has established himself as one of the leading young Fingerstyle guitar players in the industry. Performing in Nashville, Los Angeles, and throughout Europe; Connor is gaining recognition for his advanced technical ability and musical maturity for the young age of 19. Connors energetic live performances and intricate compositions/ arrangements tie influences from Tommy Emmanuel to Bach to Michael Jackson - and everything in between. In his 9 years of playing guitar, Connor has played in a vast amount of large venues in the UK. Such as the ‘o2 academy’ and the ‘Sage, Gateshead’ – where he played with the one and only Tommy Emmanuel. Connor made his first trip to Nashville when he was 16 – where he played at famous venues around town such as ‘Hard Rock Café’, and the: ‘bluebird cafe’. He also recently performed as part of the ‘Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention’ Nashville, TN. A huge convention celebrating the life of Chet Atkins that hosts some of the most accomplished guitar players/ songwriters on the world's stage.
