Connor Brown

With over a decade of experience as a drummer, I’ve cultivated a deep passion for music that led me to pursue formal education in Music Performance. I graduated with distinction from South Downs College and continued my studies with a Higher National Certificate in Music Performance and Technology at Fareham College. I am also a certified music teacher, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians. My teaching journey began when I voluntarily tutored a friend with a disability as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, an experience that shaped my teaching approach. As a session drummer, I’ve had the privilege of performing across a variety of venues and musical genres. Highlights of my career include playing at Victorious Festival before a crowd of approximately 4,000 people and working with acclaimed tribute acts such as Ultimate 90s, Pop Gods, Genesis/Phil Collins, and Wall of Floyd. I’m currently a member of Oceanview Party Band and The Sound Assembly Collective, entertaining at numerous functions and destination weddings—including performances in Greece with Oceanview. I have also served as a reliable dep for some of the UK’s busiest bands, including The Ridgeways, Under The Sun, and City Sound. My tenure with The Fifty 4 Disco/Funk Band and experience in amateur dramatic (Am-Dram) musical theatre have further enriched my repertoire. Beyond performing, I have taken on bandleader and fixer roles, organizing music for weddings, corporate functions, and private events. My network of talented musicians allows me to assemble the right team for any occasion. Additionally, I’ve worked on original projects at prestigious venues like The Square Tower and achieved a Merit in my Grade 8 Trinity College exam. My expertise extends beyond drumming. I am a skilled percussionist and backing vocalist, recently booked to perform in Copenhagen for a corporate event. My professional background includes working full-time at Graham Russell Drums and freelancing with Tailored Entertainment and Portsmouth Guildhall, where I’ve gained valuable experience in stage setup, sound, and lighting. Colleagues and bandmates consistently commend my positive attitude, reliability, and collaborative spirit, qualities I bring to every project.
