We needed a band for a charity event, after our original booking dropped out close to the date. I loved the set list Common People offered and they saved our bacon at the last minute! The dance floor was packed all night... These guys really know how to get the party started! I will most definitely be booking them for future events.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

“We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. However, we do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.”

Do you have different line-up options?

Our current lineup is Vocals, guitar, bass & drums plus backing vocals). We think it sounds great, but if you are looking to augment your experience with extra musicians, such as a saxophone player or additional female vocals, get in touch to discuss and we will arrange a custom quote specifically tailored for your event.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let us know! We can usually accommodate changes to timings. So no need to worry - just keep us updated of any changes as soon as you know about them!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can! This is one of our add-on extras which we are more than happy to provide! (please see our prices section)

How much time do you need to set up?

We require at least an hour to set everything up. As soon as our PA is set up, we can play background music while we get everything else ready.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We offer this service for First Dance songs at weddings. For any additional song requests, please get in touch. Please note that this may incur a small additional fee to cover the cost of rehearsal times, etc.
