Colin Peters

I started my musical career as a Hammond organ player in a small band based in the West Country. In 1965 he started at the then famous cabaret and night club backing all the cabaret acts that visited including many stars of the day including those mentioned above to name but a few. I remained as Musical Director of the club for some considerable time with anything from a three piece to a thirty two piece orchestra depending who the cabaret acts were. I left after thirteen years to pursue a different career but have now returned to play keyboards in restaurants and hotels weddings parties and other musical venues. I can sight read for backing cabaret and currently have my own keyboards including a portable Hammond XK2. I also carry a PA system. Swing and light jazz music is my love although other genres of music are amongst my repertoire..
