Colin won a choral exhibition to Cambridge, where he sang in Jesus College Choir, studying singing with Tim Brown at Clare College. He was later a lay clerk at Chelmsford Cathedral. He went on to teach and direct music in schools for many years, and now teaches all kinds of music to all kinds of people.

It was great to have Colin's help - stepping in very much at the last minute. As well as making a strong musical contribution he was also the life and soul of the post-concert party!
