About Classical Musicians Scotland

Providing professional performers for any type of event - soloists/ensembles, singers/instrumentalists
Opera company
Glasgow
Public liability insurance of £10 million

I'm a professional opera singer, working mainly with Scottish Opera for over twenty years. I now also represent a variety of classically trained musicians. I like to find professional performers for any type of event, and am happy to tailor the correct ensemble to fit the needs of prospective clients. I run Pollok House Arts Society and manage the Spire concert series, and have also put on several opera gala evenings in Central Scotland. I formed and manage Opera Alba, Coro Alba, Scozzesi and The Ivor Novello Story and also fix ensembles to accompany choral societies in Scotland. My musicians have performed at weddings, funerals, birthday events, corporate events, music festivals et al.

“Ayr Music Club's concert series "Music in Ayr" continued on Saturday when a capacity audience enjoyed a superb concert by the vocal group "Scozzesi". This male quartet of classically trained singers, along with their first-class pianist, provided a wonderfully varied programme of music ranging from grand opera to The Beatles and including many favourites from light opera and the shows. "Scozzesi" cross all musical boundaries, their entire performance being characterised by outstanding musicianship and expertise along with real ability to communicate with the audience. Their own infectious enjoyment provided a highly entertaining evening greatly appreciated by the audience.” Ayrshire Post

“You were right - lovely people, great singing (and acting!), excellent rapport with the audience, very easy to work with and they arrived on time! It all flowed so smoothly. The audience feedback was very positive and St John's church created a lovely intimate atmosphere for a concert. It was also a fabulous programme that you put together - perfectly pitched for the Stranraer audience. It appeared to be both word and note perfect and it added so much that they performed without folders for all but two pieces. Thank you also for the detailed and accurate information you provided. It made producing a programme for the concert so much easier.” Thank you so much for arranging such an uplifting end to our season! Steve and Rachel Flower, Stranraer Music for All
