I am a classically trained violinist. I studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Bruno Maderna Conservatoire, Italy. I specialise in modern and baroque repertoire. I can provide a whole range of services. Let's break them down individually. I do solo violin performance in any and all types of events. Those events are weddings, birthdays, funerals, private & corporate events of any description, and flexible events, ie. intimate gatherings to large festivals. For those events I provide custom repertoire that is largely determined by the client I'm working for. Here are just some of the genres of music I play: classical, jazz, folk, baroque, bluegrass, klezmer, pop, rock, indie and more. I provide a full PA audio system complete with backing tracks, whenever wanted and necessary. I am also a session musician. I am available for all types of session work including recording studio work.

Watching Clarke perform Vivaldi's Four Seasons was invigorating. He plays the pieces with an effortless but confident manner. Yet his energetic performance is both captivating and addictive which is a wonderful rarity in the classical world and most certainly a breath of fresh air!

An incredibly focussed performance of Bruch's 1st violin concerto. Technical proficiency of the highest order coupled with his characteristic flair for performance made me think of a classical Freddie Mercury!

I always try my best to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. Just let me know if timings alter slightly in the run up to the event and we can find a solution to keep things on track running smoothly to make sure everything goes as planned.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up one hour or thereabouts before the scheduled event start time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I do not have a set list of music I play, as the music I play varies depending on the event. No two are alike!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. Just let me know what you want played and I'll get started right away learning it.
