We hired you guys for our Wedding in Windermere in December and i have to start off by saying you professionalism was just superb, because of the nasty weather we were having, i am more than certain alot of bands would have cancelled. On to the music, it was just outstanding from the get go, my self, husband, friends and family absolutley loved it, and thank you for taking sooo many requests during your disco set, which had everyone on the dance floor as much as the Ceilidh Dancing did. If anyone is looking at hiring a Ceilidh and Disco for their wedding, then these guys are just fantastic, brilliant value for money and worth every penny! highly highly recommended! that was the 3rd tine i have booked you this year 2023, i think i should have invited you guys for Xmas dinner lol. you played at my daughter 21st birthday ceilidh at the british legion in Kelso, then you played for my hubbys 70th, THEN you played for my sons Wedding at the Mansfield House in Hawick! Every single event was an absolute cracker, and i will be seeing you for some more in 2023. Theres no band like you in the borders or i doubt the whole of Scotland. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients always talk about our fresh and energetic approach to music, how friendly and easy to deal with we are and how all the guests rave about us for days after the event

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played at literally thousands of events all over the world.... but here is a list of only a few of them as there are too many to mention - Edinburgh Castle Murrayfield Stadium Hampden Park Gleneagles Scone Palace Fairmont hotel Old Course Hotel, St Andrews Ibrox Park The Sage (glasshouse) Newcastle St James's Park Newcastle Royal Highland Show

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our influences come from a very very wide range of artists from Runrig, Phil Cunningham, Peat n Diesel, ACDC, Oscar Peterson, The Stones, CCR, Quo, Nigel Kennedy

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We see all gigs as the same.... but have really enjoyed playing at murrayfield for some six nations events.

Can you perform covers?

Yes we do a wide range of covers from the 50's to present day chart hits

Do you have different line-up options?

We are predominately a DUO but can add a lead guitar player and fiddle player on request.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's no problem, as soon as you know what your new timings are, please let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

That's no problem, we always ensure there is appropriate background music at all times when we are not playing live.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on the venues load in we normally take about 45 mins to set up.

Do you provide a caller?

Clarinish have a very experienced dance caller from within the band to keep you right with the dance steps

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course, no problem at all

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

we supply all the best sound equipment and brilliant lighting to give your event that little extra atmosphere

Can you learn song requests before the event?

No problem, if we are able to learn them, then we will do everything in our power to give you the best version of your requested song possible
