Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
I think most people like the fact that I can usually play what they request and would like to listen or sing along to.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Several churches and wedding reception venues.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Gosh, there's so many! I love watching Peter Bence who is an amazing pianist & the music of film composers such as Hans Zimmer & John Williams. Concert pianists also astound me such as Yuja Wang. In recent years I have really come to love the choral work of Eric Whitacre & Morten Lauridsen. I also love the music of Abba and Crowded House.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
A music concert in church.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I do like to consider myself a very flexible person and appreciate that things can change beyond our control, so as long as I have enough notice, it should not be a problem.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Not at present, sorry!
How much time do you need to set up?
This very much depends on whether the venue has its own piano/keyboard. If this is the case, I need very little time. If I need to bring my own keyboard and amp etc. I would need approximately 30 minutes (assuming a power source is available!).
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
Of course - as long as it's in tune and playable!
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
I'm open to requests from my listed repertoire as well as songs that aren't included.
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Absolutely yes.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
There will be songs that I haven't included on my repertoire list simply because there are too many and I've forgotten them! I am of course happy to learn to play a piece in advance, if it is unfamiliar to me. This may incur and additional charge.
