About Clara

Pianist
London
Hi, I am a concert pianist and piano teacher living in South West London, I love my profession. I teach privately and at the RCM (JD)

One of the most distinguished of the present generation of international pianists. Clara's programmes have consistently contrasted traditional classical music with the output of South American composers. At seventeen she won a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music with Phyllis Sellick. She has performed extensively as a soloist at Southbank Centre, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Centre and at St John’s Smith Square and has toured in Europe, India, Egypt, Tunisia and the Americas. In Caracas, aged sixteen she made her debut playing Mozart Piano Concerto No 27 with the Simón Bolívar Orchestra under the baton of José Antonio Abreu. Winner of the 2015 LUKAS Award -Classical Musician of the Year category. Teaches the piano privately and at the Royal College of Music of London (JD). Her students have won national and international competitions, entered the main London colleges and have been granted scholarships to many schools.
