The 4tet’s playing throughout was, as I might have expected, of the highest quality but so were your communication skills when addressing a range of ages and experiences throughout the two days. Your repertoire was also exceptionally well thought out and your coaching requirements were taken to another level at NCYM after Paul Warburton (senior string coach) was taken ill and you were left suddenly “holding the baby”! Although we ensured you had qualified staff around you, there were no free string tutors. It was therefore obvious that you were now the string experts on the ground and your coaching of both of Paul’s string 4tets was extremely impressive at no notice at all. Thank you for ensuring the youngsters involved had an extremely worthwhile couple of hours in the absence of their normal teacher. As impressive was your feedback to me about how much you had relished the challenge and enjoyed the unexpected opportunity.

Thank you very much for playing in this wonderful venue, your playing was absolutely gorgeous and outstanding! The feedback I got from the audience was also very postitive and enthusiastic. I have to say the repertoire choice was very exotic, and fitted perfectly with your personality. Well done again.
