Claire Harris

Claire Harris is a versatile professional pianist based in London, who specialises in accompaniment. She is in demand as a recitalist, working alongside some of the UK's finest young singers. Claire is a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where she completed a Masters in Piano Accompaniment with first class honours in 2015. During her studies, she was awarded many scholarships and prizes, including the Soiree d'Or Award, the Help Musicians UK Accompanist Award, the John and Marjorie Coultate Award and the Violette Szabo GC Memoriam Prize. Prior to her Masters studies, Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the New Zealand School of Music, where she was awarded the Rere Beckway Pianoforte Prize. Claire has a keen interest in contemporary music and has given the premiere performances of many new works, both as a soloist and as a member of a chamber ensemble. She has also worked with folk and pop musicians, touring the UK and Europe as a keyboardist.
