Hi, I'm Chris, an Award-winning Pianist from Warrington serving weddings in Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire, and all across the North West of England. I'm different from other Pianists as I will take limitless requests to make sure that it is your story being told on your special day. It is my mission to show your personality and vision for the day through the soundtrack that we create together. All bookings also include my Grand Piano shell to add a touch of class to the occasion. From laid-back easy listening, to jazz, rock anthems, and pop hits, my repertoire spans a broad mix of popular genres. I'm also the winner of the Hitched Wedding Awards for the past two years running, and have also been featured in the national press and on BBC2's 'Ultimate Wedding Planner'. We booked chris to play at our wedding last week and we could not have asked for more. From our very early interactions he was responsive and engaging and you could feel that it was important to him that we got what we wanted from the day. On the day, Chris arrived early to set up ahead of guests arriving for the ceremony and played through until the wedding breakfast was finished. He was the complete professional all day. Polite and courteous with guests and staff and nothing was too much trouble (including moving the full setup between 3 different rooms as the day progressed without a single complaint). His playing was beautiful, adding a subtle magic to the day, including a special request or two. And we had so many comments from guests. Ultimately we had the best day and Chris made a huge contribution. We could not recommend him highly enough.

Made our day!! Chris was amazing! Chris played beautifully, just in that lull in the day where the photographers wanted the bride and groom and people are standing around after the welcome drinks were finished chris got the party started he was able to read the room and play to our guests exactly what they wanted to hear! We walked back into our wedding to guests singing, dancing and laughing!! (In not sure they even noticed us gone) This addition to our wedding day really was spectacular! Chris was professional, outgoing, eager to please, polite, funny everything that you could wish for from somebody joining our big day. I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough! So many thanks Chris love Jim and Gem ♥️

Chris provided the perfect soundtrack to our day and made my vision for walking down the aisle a reality! Nothing was too much for Chris. From providing recordings so myself and my bridesmaids could practice walking down the aisle ahead of time, to learning new songs just for us, to hauling his piano outside after the ceremony so our guests could enjoy his music alongside a glass of champagne on the patio. Chris instantly understood our vibe and picked the perfect selection of songs to accompany our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. We truly could not recommend him more!

Ruby Package

Music for the duration of your wedding ceremony, including background music as guests arrive, entrance and exit music, and any hymns/special songs you would love in between.

Sapphire Package

Music for the duration of the wedding ceremony, then approximately one hour of music at the drinks reception to entertain the guests as they wait.

Diamond Package

Our most popular package! This covers all the music you will need up to the evening party, including music for the duration of the wedding ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast.

Add even more class to your event by entertaining your guests with a spectacular singer! This package will cover all your music for the day as above, but also add another element to the performance with a female singer for the wedding breakfast.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The fact that as well as setting a great mood whatever the occasion, I am happy to take requests both in advance and on the day and tailor every event to make it personal to the client and their guests

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

As well as hundreds of weddings and private performances, I have performed for lots of corporate clients including: 30 James Street Liverpool Glastonferry Music Festival Priory Inns Group

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I am a Blues and Jazz player at heart, and often incorporate this style into my performance of pop songs too. Initially inspired by Jools Holland, I also love the work of Michel Camilo, Oscar Peterson and Herbie Hancock.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Glastonferry Music Festival (1000+ people)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No trouble! I'll always work with you to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible :)

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, this can be provided at no extra cost upon request.

How much time do you need to set up?

I can be set up in an hour with the Grand Piano shell, or 10-15 minutes without, depending on the distance to the car park! As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! It's your day and the music should tell your story. Feel free to request as many songs as you like :)

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, if the venue doesn't have a piano, I bring my own professional digital Piano and PA system. I also have the option of bringing a Grand Piano shell which houses the digital piano, but gives the appearance of a real Baby Grand to add a touch of class to your event!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. I am happy to learn requests, and will endeavor to learn your favourite song(s) in advance of the performance.
