SInce 2022 Chris has been on tour as warm-up DJ for Martin Kemp's Back To The Eighties, Jo Whiley's 90's Anthems and Marvin Humes Noughties Baby around the UK at huge venues including Indigo at the O2 in London, O2 Academies in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and Bristol and NX and Boilershop in Newcastle to sell-out crowds of up to 2000 each night. Chris runs two high end wedding disco brands, Confetti Discos and Rustic Discos which have been awarded Highly Commended in the Wedding DJ of the Year (South of England) regional final of the Wedding Industry Awards 2024, and has 100% five star ratings for his wedding disco hosting. He has experience of playing a range of musical styles and his expertise lies in filling dancefloors at events with people of various ages and musical tastes, selecting the perfect soundtrack to keep everyone entertained. Chris is also a very experienced event host, regularly compereing awards ceremonies, outdoor festivals and Christmas light switch-ons across the UK and has excellent mic skills. He's also a radio presenter who's worked on some of the UK's biggest brands including Heart, Kiss and Galaxy, and is currently the owner of radio stations in Northampton and Milton Keynes and a shareholder in two DAB multiplexes.

Chris Gregg is brilliant! I cannot recommend him enough - he went above and beyond expectations and made our wedding the perfect celebration. In the run up, we were assured all our needs would be met and he went out of his way to provide what we asked for. On the day, he was punctual and managed to work with our timings perfectly even when we got slightly delayed. His set up looked great and the confetti cannon during then first dance was a good extra touch. He played what we asked and had the dance floor full all night. He was such a nice guy too and it was a pleasure having him at our wedding and we could not be happier!!

Chris was absolutely brilliant at our wedding. He listened to what we wanted, played all of the songs we liked and created an atmosphere that got everybody out of their seats and onto the dance floor. I cannot thank him enough for the fantastic work he did and all of the effort he put in to make sure our wedding day was perfect. Highly recommend! Thank you, Chris, for being fantastic.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I have had 100% five star reviews and won awards voted for by clients who say they love the personal service I provide - I put the client first and I am happy to play your choice of music styles, including specific requests and my own choices, reading the dancefloor and mood to ensure everyone has a great time,

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at most of the wedding venues in my local area such as Stowe House, Chicheley Hall, Horwood House, Plum Park Manor, Waddeston etc plus rustic venues such as Bradwell Abbey, Crockwell Farm, Furtho Manor Farm, Wood Farm Everdon, Winters Tale Country Barn, Dodmoor House.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As a radio presenter and radio station music programmer, I need to have very diverse music taste and I have worked across multiple genres - I enjoy playing dance music, indie/rock and pop from the 80s, 90s and 00s.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've performed many large gigs and regularly play at major O2 Academy venues supporting artists including Marvin Humes, Martin Kemp and Jo Whiley on tour around the UK, typically to audiences of between 1000 and 2000 people, however I'm equally comfortable playing to a wedding guests.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am very flexible and changes to the timings can usually be accommodated although if the length of the set increases from what was quoted, there may be an extra charge.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

You can choose your own music for the disco and I encourage couples to work with me on their playlists however I would discourage playing music from an ipod as the vibe is always better when there is someone to choose the order of the songs and respond to the dancefloor.

How much time do you need to set up?

It takes me an hour to set up a disco.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You can choose the genres of music I play or provide a playlist and I will use my skills to read the room and play appropriate music that keeps everyone dancing but within your specific music taste / requirements.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
