The Chris Coull Quartet featuring famed Danish vocalist Sara Oschlag and international band leader and trumpeter Chris Coull. Based in Brighton, this dynamic four piece provide authentic reimaginings of jazz’s golden age. The roaring twenties, 30s swing and 40s bop shine through their extensive repertoire featuring songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Glen Miller to name just a few. Hiring this group means a no nonsense, organised, professional and flexible working band that all dress for the occasion and make sure that perfect planning equals satisfied customers. All musical equipment and stage sound is include in all our quotes and should you have any special requests (songs, dress, timings etc) we’re always happy to accommodate your bespoke needs. Sara Oschlag has been singing professionally in the UK since the early 2000’s and is a regular at many UK and European jazz festivals as well as touring throughout the country as a sought-after vocalist. Her distinctive voice is as alluring as it is captivating singing a range of styles and songs from the great American songbook. Chris Coull is a bandleader and trumpeter who has played and led throughout the world in places as far flung as America, The Middle East as well as his native UK. Soft and thoughtful, his approach takes inspiration from the more introspective playing of Chet Baker and Miles Davis. In addition to playing as a classic quartet, we also play with additional drums (for a more up-beat feel) as well as trios and duets for intimate gatherings. We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Yes - as long as it is within the time frame of our booking.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
