CHILL are one of Dorset and the south west's favourite party bands. Formed in 2000, CHILL have performed at literally thousands of events, from weddings, parties and festivals to pubs and clubs. CHILL are a three piece band: Paul Graham (lead vocals, guitars, synthesiser programming), Steve Peck (backing and occasional lead vocals, bass guitar) and Nick Harper (drums and backing vocals). Using self programmed synthesiser backing tracks CHILL are able to craft a polished and authentic sound, particularly for their 80s material, for which they are particularly well known. All three members of the band are well seasoned musicians, each having performed for many, many years with covers bands and some of the UK's top touring tribute acts (And Finally...Phil Collins, Synchronicity UK, The Bryan Adams Tribute Band, Toto Loco, Fat Lizzy, UK Pink Floyd).

Hi Paul Many thanks to you and the rest of the band for performing at our wedding a couple of weeks ago, we loved the performance and everyone has told us what a great time they had and how good you guys were. Obviously it all got a bit messy at the end, apologies for that and for the Jerusalem rendition! (not sure why that came about). Alex and I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending you for other functions and we both wish you all the best for the future. What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are frequently complimented for the quality of our sound, and for our musicianship. Our clients also love our non stop flow of songs - unkike other bands, we don't waste a lot of time talking in between songs.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We've been together for over 20 years, averaging over 100 gigs a year, so we've played a lot of venues - too many to list.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Far too many to list, but we're all Pink Floyd fans.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Having all been members of high profile, award winning tribute bands we've played a lot of great theatres up and down the country. But for CHILL it has been our honour to have been selected to headline the coveted opening and closing parties for the Great Dorset Steam Fair for several years in a row.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

“We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. Our vocalist, lead guitarist and band leader, Paul Graham, has never missed a performance in over 20 years."

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is Lead vocals/lead guitar, Bass/backing vocals, Drums/backing vocals, with backing tracks to fill out the sound.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

“We provide an iPod service as standard. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £380.”

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

“Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. ”

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote

Can you learn song requests before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we will endeavour to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”
