Cheryl King

With 17 years experience, Cheryl has performed across the UK in many productions, choirs, pantomimes and amateur productions including ‘Cinderella, Blithe Spirit, Some Like It Hot, La Cage Aux Folles, Oklahoma, and Me and My Girl’. After a hectic show schedule and many years touring the UK and working abroad for several holiday companies, Cheryl took a break in 2009, putting her career on hold and working in the city for a bank, choosing to play only a handful of shows locally. At the start of 2014 Cheryl met an old friend, who encouraged her to perform as a guest in a Help For Heroes performance and her love for music was re-ignited. With an amazing vocal range, an infectious smile and incredible drive and ambition, Cheryl has once again turned professional and is planning to take her show across the UK and Europe. She has played several work in progress shows and the feedback has been amazing... Presently she is in the studio, recording an acoustic album ‘True’ and working on her debut album ‘Raise the Curtain’ and is taking bookings for album launch shows and cabaret performances. Cheryl has been working on her latest project ‘Songs Of Stage and Screen’, concentrating on performing some of the classic and legendary numbers from the world’s greatest musicals including ‘Les Miserable, Cats, Tell Me On A Sunday, Evita, The Sound of Music, Saturday Night Fever and Sunset Boulevard’. As a huge fan of The Carpenters, Cheryl's new project, Songs of The Carpenters utilises her incredible vocal range and passion. The performance includes all the songs you would expect from a Carpenters show. This is a NOT TO BE MISSED experience, suitable for any venue or occasion. Cheryl’s show includes all of the songs you would expect and many more, suitable for any audience or venue. Having built up a strong rapport with many of her peers, Cheryl is well respected in the industry and is always in great demand, whether its an intimate show in a restaurant, a cabaret show in a club or a corporate show.
