I am a professional bassoonist based in Manchester perfoing across the North West in chamber and orchestral concerts. I recently graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a distinction in bassoon performance MMus. Whilst at the RNCM I studied with Gretha Tuls (Principal Halle Orchestra) and Graham Salvage (ex Halle Orchestra). I attained my undergraduate BMus (Hons) degree from Birmingham Conservatoire whilst studying with John Orford (London Sinfonietta) and Gretha Tuls. I have extensive range of chamber music experience performing with Bilancia wind quintet, also alongside Alauda string quartet. Recent chamber performances include Schubert Octet, Stravinsky Dumbarton Oaks. Recent orchestral performances include Mahler symphony number 2, Stravinsky Pulcinella (principal), Ravel Piano Concerto for the Left Hand (contra bassoon), Ravelother Goose (contra bassoon).
