I began playing the pipes when I was eight and living in Scotland. I've played in various bands over the years, including the Pipes and Drums of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, but now perform mostly as a soloist. When I'm not performing I also teach the pipes.

Charlie played the pipes at our school Burns night ceilidh and he was absolutely fantastic. There was so much praise for him from all our guests who said how much he made the evening with his wonderful playing. And as the organiser of the evening I felt especially thankful, Charlie was really accommodating to all our needs, arrived in great time and was a pleasure to deal with.
