Charlie has been playing the organ since the age of 9, 2 years before she was tall enough to reach the pedals. She became Assistant Organist at Holy Trinity Church, Belbroughton and St Mark’s Fairfield at the age of 12, playing for all services, funerals, wedding and events; then in 2012-2014 became Acting Director of Music before starting to play freelance all over the West Midlands. In 2016 she moved to London for drama school and continues to play as the regular cover organist for Hinde St Methodist Church, Kensal Rise Methodist Church, St Mary-Magdalene-In-Paddington and St Peter’s Elgin Avenue. She picks up freelance accompanist work for choir rehearsals alongside church services, and is available for a whole variety of events.
