“Stones on a Sandy Beach is a beautiful song... he's a very good singer”. – Rod Stewart (speaking on Magic FM) A few years ago, in a British radio interview, none other than Rod Stewart hailed a new emerging musical talent who had written a “beautiful song” and intimated he was destined for great things. Around the same time, Andy Hill, three-time Ivor Novello award winning song-writer proclaimed his astonishment at the sheer quality and maturity in the young man’s songs. Since then, Charlie Hole has sung with Michael Bolton, Robin Gibb, Michael Carrick and Paul Rodgers among many others for a charity single recorded at world renowned Abbey Road studios. A meeting with multi-platinum award winning record producer Jim Cregan (Rod Stewart, Katie Melua, Cat Stevens) led to a series of recordings at Jim’s studio, which resulted in an album of Charlie’s original songs called ‘The Joy Of A Caged Bird’, which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. Then, when he was 18 he secured a credible publishing deal with Rondor/Universal as well as Fuji Pacific in Japan, and is represented by Creative Music Management and ITB (Adele, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan) – an incredible platform for a burgeoning and talented young musician. He has just completed his follow up album also produced by Jim Cregan which features drums from Stuart Elliot (Kate Bush, Paul McCartney) and piano from Sam Tanner (The Who, Faces, Procul Harum). He has supported both Steve Harley and Billy Ocean on their respective UK tours, performing at Bournemouth's O2 Academy and many 1000 seater theatres nationwide. He regularly plays festivals all over the UK including ‘Boardmasters' in Cornwall headlined by Ben Howard and was personally booked by Jamie Oliver and Alex James for ‘The Big Feastival' in the Cotswolds. He is now also available as a solo acoustic-guitarist and singer with a varied repertoire of covers well suited for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Over his career he has played all manor of events at exclusive 5-star hotels and esteemed function halls up and down the country. Most notably, he has performed at several fashion shows for royal designer Anna Valentine in both Geneva and London, Gordon Ramsey's restaurant 'The York and Albany' in Regent’s Park and weddings in Venice, Tuscany and La Rochelle. He also has residencies at high-end restaurants in London where he performs regularly throughout the year. Charlie has provided music at several marriage proposals including a flash mob on the London Eye, the veranda of Somerset House and Parliament Hill on Hampsted Heath. For weddings, Charlie is ideal for the ceremony, as he creates a special atmosphere with the songs specifically chosen by the client, adding his own unique quality to everything he plays. Similarly, he is perfect for the drinks reception or meal, with his chilled-out style, adding a touch of class to the occasion. He can learn a song especially for you if you have something in particular you'd like him to play, clients often ask for a first dance, a song to walk down the aisle to or perhaps a favourite song that you’d like him to play. If you require a more up-beat set, he can provide that for you, having played numerous New Years Eve events and parties. If you have any further enquiries such as prices or availability don't hesitate to get in contact (details above).

Charlie was a credit to himself, he played at our wedding reception 4 sets and we had our first dance song already picked to play by the DJ but after hearing Charlie's voice we asked him to do it, he smashed it. Many guests commented on how good he was! Would definitely recommend.

We had Charlie play during our wedding ceremony, tea/cocktail hour and reception. He did a fantastic job and was very accommodating with numerous requests. He was able to play inside and out, accepted our requests to learn a few new songs and to organize a pre recorded song during the ceremony. He has a large library of songs he is able to play and sounds lovely. His music can be both a wonderful main attraction or background music depending on what you have planned. Thank you Charlie! Would definitely recommend!
