Charlie was incredible, both in the run up to the wedding (which ended up being over a number of years due to postponements!) and on the day. We were all blown away by his playing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about him, we had so many wonderful comments. Book Charlie, you won't regret it!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I think what separates me from others is my ability to play and improvise in multiple styles and genres. No style is off the table. I also adapt very well to all situations and have very good communication skills. I am always ready to answer any questions you may have.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

-A multitude of wedding venues including Syon Park, Clock Barn, Pennyhill park, Sandown Racecourse, Southampton Harbour Hotel, Four Seasons (multiple locations) and many more. -Cruise ships, concert halls, smaller boats and private yachts.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Classical- Yascha Heifetz, Alex Markov, Maxim Vengerov, Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein Jazz- Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Keith Jarret, John Coltrane, Brad Meldau, Joe Venuti Rock- Thin Lizzy, Nirvana. Black Sabbath.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably alongside the great Russian violinists Alexander Markov and his father Albert Markov. Other appearances have included the X factor, The Voice and BBC Proms

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, I also come in the form of an acoustic duo, a perfect addition to your entertainment needs. We take requests on the spot from your guests and will have them all singing in no time! Can be an entirely acoustic act or with PA.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This is not a problem, provided it does not affect other bookings I may have that day. For example if your event is in the day time and I have another booking in the evening, I cannot delay attending the second booking. Just keep in touch, and if possible have final timings in place as soon as possible. Additional time added will be subject to a surcharge.

How much time do you need to set up?

This can be fairly flexible depending on the event. We can discuss this further at the enquiry stage.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! Many people tend to ask me to stay within specific genres, which works well as I can judge what I play based on my reading the room, a skill I have acquired over many years of experience. I can also allow a few specific requests of songs that are not in my repertoire list to give you the bespoke experience.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, all equipment will be supplied by me.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes! This will be built into the cost of the performance. The average amount of request is between 1 & 4 songs. Again this can be discussed further.
