Drummer

Northampton

Public liability insurance of £10 million

I studied with Bob Armstrong for 6 years and he was a strong instructor in moellar , linear and jazz drumming techniques. After studying I became drummer with Veryan Weston quintet and played the Vortex , Crawley Jazz festival, and many other venues around London. I have played Drums in Calypso bands amongst greats like Junior Gill who was with Billy Cobham. We toured Germany and played the Mainz festival. This was televised . I went on to teach at NMPAT for 7 years and was very productive there as a Drum Kit teacher. I taught David Forster and Adam Gammage how to play the drums amongst other respected drummers , both students went on to do great things. I can fit in with your band as a session drummer for the event of your choice or teach you how to play ...

Charles' Reviews

Charles played at our wedding and had 2 hours of tunes ( lterally) at his fingertips. No doubt he could have played longer if required!!! If you want some background talented ivory tickling then he is your man.

Charles Sheinman was a founder member of “The Lincoln Noel Trio” in 1999 and for 3 years, was instrumental in laying the solid foundations on which the ensemble has built it’s success through consistent diligence by executing a commited approach, applying his musical excellence and most significantly being a brilliant colleague. As a teacher, he is driven, thorough, meticulous and inspirational to his students. As a musician, he is creative, open to new ideas, full of innovation and his toolbox is comprehensive. Having worked alongside him and observed for over 30 years, I can declare with confidence that Charles Sheinman adds critical value to everything he embraces. Lincoln Noel – The Maestro
