Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
How authentic our sound is, our excellent comms before the event, our professionalism and politeness, the fact that we are always open to learning new material for special occasions, the breadth of our repertoire (we can switch between Celtic, old time, bluegrass and Americana) and that we write so many of our own songs and tunes.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
So many folk clubs all around the UK, the most recent being:
The Cellar Upstairs (London), The Green Note (London), Walthamstow Folk Club (London), Lewis Folk Club (Sussex) as well as numerous festivals including Boomtown, Broadstairs, Sidmouth, Fat Tuesday, Glastonbury and many more. We play at bars, clubs and private parties all over the Uk and Ireland
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Flook, Altan, Lunasa, Joe Heaney, Foghorn Leghorn, anything at all from the Irish, Americana, Old Time or Bluegrass world.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
very grateful to have performed at the National Concert Hall in Dublin
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
You can let me know and I will work to those new timings as long as you tell me in advance please!
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
yes we can and we can tailor it to the event and provide the PA needed if you want a DJ service after your live music event.
How much time do you need to set up?
an hour is best but we can do it faster if needed!
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
we can work together to ensure the set is exactly as you want it from our extensive repertoire or we can suggest tunes/songs for you
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
we bring all the equipment we need to perform and can play via PA or acoustically
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If a song is not included in my song list I can learn it for you as long as I am given enough time to do that (a week is ideal)
