I booked Celtic Colours to help celebrate our anniversary and I am so pleased that I did. It was a surprise for my partner and the mix of songs and instrumental pieces was absolutely perfect. The trio played a mixture of well known songs that we could join in with as well as gigs and reels that had us all clapping along. They are definitely a fab Celtic/ Irish trio and I would certainly book them again. Thanks Celtic Colours.

On a lively evening to celebrate a personal milestone Celtic Colours delivered a performance that truly captured the spirit of both traditional and modern folk music which was everything I had hoped for. Their blend of whistles, vocals, guitar, cajon, concertina and Melodian created an atmosphere that was nothing short of infectious, inviting everyone in attendance to join in the fun. From the very first note, the group’s musicianship was evident. The whistles brought a bright, melodic edge to the arrangements, while the guitar provided a rhythmic backbone that kept the energy high throughout. The cajon added punchy percussion, perfectly supporting the lively pace of both fast jigs and slower ballads. The selection of songs struck a perfect balance between well-loved traditional tunes and modern compositions, ensuring that the setlist was both familiar and fresh. The arrangements were inventive, breathing new life into classics without losing their Celtic authenticity. The atmosphere was great with the music’s catchy rhythms inspiring spontaneous dancing and foot-tapping across my guests. Celtic Colours also created a sense of community, engaging the audience with humour and warmth through and also between songs. Their passion was palpable, and it was clear that everyone in attendance was thoroughly enjoying themselves, lots of smiles and applause. Celtic Colours delivered a fantastic performance and I would definitely recommend them to add a Celtic Irish twist to any event.
