The band were great at getting people involved. They did have rather a lot of breaks between Ceilidh dances but the dances were good. Was a bit surprised they expected lunch when only playing for 2 hours and a local venue.

Simply fantastic.

London's finest ceilidh band

Ceilidh Tree played at our wedding a few weeks ago and were absolutely brilliant! The music was great, they were very enthusiastic and energetic and great at getting everyone involved! They had a solution to our first dance fears, making it far less daunting! Our Scottish guests were particularly impressed, preferring it by far to their local ceilidhs! Their DJ was fantastic too - accommodating our more unusual musical tastes without preventing people from dancing. We thoroughly recommend them!

Energy of our caller, emphasis on fun and responsiveness to how guests are taking to the ceilidh. Also flexibility in terms of timings.

Can you perform covers?

Yes we're very happy to include some well known songs performed in a folky style. We can also include well-loved singalong folk songs.

Do you have different line-up options?

We perform as a quartet of fiddle, accordion, guitar and caller but also perform as a trio of guitar, caller, and fiddle. For smaller events we can perform as guitarist caller with fiddle or accordion and also offer a caller and backing tracks option. We can also add percussion, flute or whistle to make a larger band or on request in the smaller line-ups.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always do our best to accommodate and as long as we've not got any other prior commitments, we can usually be very flexible if things change. We can also be flexible on the night if guests require longer break or extended ceilidh session!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We very regularly provide a ceilidh and disco option with playlist, requests on the night and full lighting rig. We can also provide use of our PA system for after, before or in between ceilidh sets for a little extra, depending on the timings.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually arrive 1 hour prior to performing, the setup is fairly quick (typically 25 mins) so this allows plenty of time.

Do you provide a caller?

Yes, we almost always work with a caller and they're the undisputed star of the show! They will host the event and do their utmost to make sure everyone is having as excellent a time as possible.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! Very happy to talk through our set list in advance and accommodate any specific dance / tune requests.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Yes, we typically perform through our own PA system though if there's a system at the venue then happy to use this and will offer a discount if so.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can though would need to add on a little to the fee depending on the song to cover rehearsal / arrangement time.
