Catherine and Caelin

Catherine and Caelin are an extraordinary fiddle and guitar duo that brings an electrifying blend of traditional folk and contemporary pop to events around the UK. Comprising fiddle player Catherine Speight and guitar player Caelin Forshaw, they are perfect for any event. Catherine and Caelin are graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the University of Glasgow respectively, and have been playing together since 2023, playing at events such as Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival. They both come from a varied musical background and are just as at home playing Scottish traditional music as well as instrumental arrangements of contemporary pop music.
