Cat Ledgerwood is a Leeds College of Music graduate after studying at the conservatoire for 5 years, first on the BTEC course and then on the BA (Hons) Music, Classical Pathway. She had the honour of being tutored by renowned cellist, Alfia Nakipbekova whilst on the course. As well as performing Classical music, Cat also regularly arranges and performs Pop music, light Jazz and Folk music. Cat provides music for functions, weddings and concerts and is currently principle cellist of the Leeds Community Symphony Orchestra and co-founder of Pop saxophone and cello duo, CelloPhonics. As well as a performer, Cat teaches cello and music theory, as well as working at Leeds College of Music as a Student Centred Learning Supervisor on the BTEC course, cello and viola supervisor for Saturday Music School Target and a 1-1 mentor for the degree course.

Cat played at our wedding at Warwick Castle and was amazing. She composed a new song for us, a mash up of the wedding march, and it was brilliant.
