We gave such a short notice and Carolyn was really willing to help. We had a French inspired event and she was just perfect! Amazing repertoire, lovely voice and she brought with her a very professional accordionist! Our guests had an amazing time!

I booked Carolyn Saint-Pé to sing at my 60th French-themed birthday party and it was a big success. Carolyn and I agreed on a set list, alternating waltzes, Javas and ballads and she sang beautifully while also encouraging the guests to dance and herself joining in as well. We also indulged in a bit of sing-along which was fun. I would totally recommend Carolyn for entertaining your guests à la française !

The Sparrows of Paris perform regularly at Green Note and delight our patrons with a mix of vintage french chansons and french jazz. They are loved by our audience in search of a Parisian feel reminiscent of old french cinema and Edith Piaf but also of the classic gypsy jazz tunes of Django Reinhardt.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

yes I can do so.

How much time do you need to set up?

20 minutes

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

yes you can and I can provide printed lyrics for people to sing along.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I can bring a small PA and can sing with a backing tape. When singing with a band we will bring a small PA suitable for medium size rooms. We found that in the past large events organise their own PA system so we do not provide a large PA.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can learn specific songs if the time between the booking and the performance allows and provided I can find a suitable backing tape or rehearse the musicians when playing with a band.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients find my performances engaging and always remark that I have a lovely voice.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Residence of the French Ambassador in London, The Green Note, Jamboree, The Troubadour, Old Mary's Bar in Lancaster Gate, Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec, Brasserie Blanc, The Verdi Room at The Royal Albert Hall, The Wallace Collection, The Royal Academy of Art, Guys and St Thomas' Hospital, BOZAR in Brussels, Festival du Commerce in Montrouge, France

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing for the French Ambassador at the Residence de France in London
